Dr. Dennis Nguyen: Expert in Functional Medicine and Chiropractic Neurology Dr. Dennis Nguyen is a distinguished practitioner specializing in functional medicine, pain management, and chiropractic neurology. With practices located in Sacramento (Florin Mall area) and West Sacramento, Dr. Nguyen employs state-of-the-art medical digital thermography imaging technology to detect early signs of inflammation and tumors. This technology helps identify potential health issues such as breast disease, heart disease, neuropathy, periodontal disease, ruptured discs, skin cancer, and stroke risk. Additionally, he utilizes innovative methods, including fit light therapy, to aid stroke patients in regaining strength. Born and raised in Orange County, California, Dr. Nguyen pursued his education at California State University, Pomona, where he earned a degree in Chemical Engineering. He continued his education at the Southern California University of Health Sciences, obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1994. Furthering his expertise, Dr. Nguyen trained at the Carrick Institute, becoming board-certified in chiropractic neurology in 1998. His dedication to medical education led him to earn an MD from the University of Health Sciences in Antigua in 2002 and a PhD in Biomedical Science and Nutrition from the University of the Pacific in 2004. Dr. Nguyen’s commitment to addressing the root causes of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, thyroid disorders, mental illness, and autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto's thyroiditis and rheumatoid arthritis, guided him to complete additional training at the Functional Medicine University. He is also an experienced volunteer, having participated in numerous medical missions, and has served as an American Red Cross instructor, teaching CPR and advanced emergency services. Currently, Dr. Dennis Nguyen shares his knowledge as a guest speaker at Sacramento State University and local community colleges, where he educates audiences on functional medicine and thermography, empowering them to reclaim optimal health.
